Avoiding Recess Appointments

By conducting pro forma sessions, the Republican-led Senate can block the President from making recess appointments, thereby maintaining the Senate's authority of advice and consent over nominations.

The Republican Senate in 2025 are using pro forma sessions to effectively prolong a period when they're not in Washington DC, while still technically "in session" on the books, to prevent the President from bypassing the Senate's confirmation process for nominations. 

PATRIOTS HERE WE GO AGAIN

Similar to their actions in 2016-2020 and now in 2025, they did not support President Trump. When President Trump was first elected in 2016, he received no assistance in securing funds to build the border wall. Throughout his first term, the Republican Senate consistently refused to aid him, and the REPUBLICAN HOUSE AND SENATE worked to undermine his agenda.

In 2020, both the House and the Senate did not back President Trump and instead sided with the Democrats' January 6 argument. As of 2025, over 135 individuals awaiting confirmation for various roles in President Trump's administration have been stalled, while the Republican-controlled House and Senate have left Washington D.C. for their August vacations, funded by taxpayers.

The UNIPARTY has departed D.C., leaving 135 Trump administration appointees awaiting confirmation. The Republican Senate and House are carrying out the agenda of the Communist Democrat party, as they consistently do.

However, they deceive WE THE PEOPLE by claiming they will accomplish everything after the recess, fully aware that they will have only a few days upon their return before taking another RECESS. In reality, nothing will be achieved; it's just another performance of the REPUBLICAN HOUSE AND SENATE SONG AND DANCE ROUTINE.

BOTTOM LINE

Ultimately, they are indifferent to whether Trump's administration is ever fully established!

They are simply stalling to maintain the status quo of the uniparty.
