The majority of Americans are unfamiliar with Saul Alinsky. His Marxist beliefs and how they influenced the 2008 elections.

Both Democrats Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were devoted followers of Alinskyism.

Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio—the entire nation seems to have abandoned American values. How did we as a nation arrive at this point?

Why have so many Americans adopted socialism?

Why are so many Americans in 2025 still supporting and embracing Marxism/Communism?

We need look no further than New York City and its population's infatuation with Communist Zohran Mamdani. Polling data projects Communist Zohran Mamdani as the current front-runner in the 2025 New York City mayoral election.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama both worshiped at the altar of Alinskyism.

In his 1971 book, "Rules for Radicals," Alinsky criticized the Sixties Left for alienating potential supporters in Middle America. He advised that genuine revolutionaries should not openly display their radicalism. Instead, they should blend in by cutting their hair, wearing suits, and working within the system.

Alinsky considered revolution to be a gradual, deliberate process. The key was to infiltrate established institutions like churches, unions, and political parties.

In his hometown of Chicago,

Alinsky sought power wherever it was available. His collaboration with notable Catholic leaders like Bishop Bernard Sheil provided him with respectability, while his association with crime figures such as Frank Nitti, Al Capone’s right-hand man, gave him influence on the streets.

Saul Alinsky was adept at attracting wealthy donors. The initial funding for his Industrial Areas Foundation, a training school for radical organizers, came from department-store magnate Marshall Field III, Sears Roebuck heiress Adele Rosenwald Levy, and Gardiner Howland Shaw, an assistant secretary of state under Franklin Roosevelt.

Alinsky once claimed, “I am confident that I could convince a millionaire on a Friday to fund a revolution for Saturday, from which he would earn a substantial profit on Sunday, even though he would be certain to be executed on Monday.”

WASHINGTON POST SUPPORTED SAUL ALINSKY

Eugene Meyer, a Wall Street investment banker, was one of Alinsky's benefactors. Meyer, who was Chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1930 to 1933, co-owned The Washington Post with his wife Agnes. They utilized their newspaper to support Alinsky.

DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT TRUMAN

Agnes Meyer authored a six-part series in 1945, commending Alinsky's efforts in Chicago slums. Titled "The Orderly Revolution," her series brought Alinsky fame. President Truman requested 100 reprints of the series.

DEMOCRAT PRESIDENT JOHNSON-WAR ON POVERTY

In the 1960s, Alinsky held significant influence from behind the scenes.

When President Johnson initiated his War on Poverty in 1964, Alinsky's associates infiltrated the initiative, directing federal funds towards Alinsky's projects.

DEMOCRAT ROBERT KENNEDY WAS INVOLVED MARXIST SAUL ALINSKY

In 1966, Senator Robert Kennedy formed an alliance with union leader Cesar Chavez, a follower of Alinsky. Chavez had spent a decade working for Alinsky, starting in 1952. Kennedy eventually became involved with Alinsky’s group.

EASTMAN-KODAK HIRING PRACTICES INFLUENCED BY MARXIST SAUL ALINSKY

Following the race riots that unsettled Rochester, New York, Alinsky arrived in the city and started urging Eastman-Kodak to employ more Black individuals. Kennedy backed Alinsky's efforts. Alinsky later mentioned that the two men had an "understanding."

MARXIST SAUL ALINSKY'S RECRUITMENT OF DEMOCRAT HILLARY CLINTON

Alinsky's greatest accomplishment was recruiting a young high school student named Hillary Rodham. She connected with Alinsky through a radical church group. For her senior thesis at Wellesley College, Hillary wrote an analysis of Alinsky's methods. They stayed friends until Alinsky passed away in 1972.

Alinsky attempted to recruit Hillary as a community organizer, but she opted to enroll at Yale Law School instead. Nevertheless, Alinsky’s network continued to influence Hillary’s career path.

At 26, right after graduating from law school, Hillary secured a prestigious position on the House Judiciary Committee’s Watergate investigation team in 1974, thanks to a recommendation from Peter and Marian Wright Edelman.

MARXIST MARIAN WRIGHT EDELMAN INFLUENCE ON DEMOCRAT HILLARY CLINTON

Since 1969, the Edelmans have been trusted mentors to Hillary. Martin Peretz, editor of the New Republic, referred to Marian as “Hillary’s closest sister and ideological soulmate.” Marian Wright Edelman is also an Alinskyite, having been a member of the Board of Trustees for Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation.

Many leftists consider Hillary a sell-out because she expresses moderate positions on certain issues. Nonetheless, Hillary is merely adhering to Alinsky’s advice to do and say whatever is necessary to acquire power.

Barack Obama is also an Alinskyite.

After being trained by Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation, Obama dedicated several years to conducting workshops on the Alinsky method. In 1985, he started a four-year period as a community organizer in Chicago with an Alinskyite organization known as the Developing Communities Project. Subsequently, he collaborated with ACORN and its offshoot, Project Vote, both of which were part of the Alinsky network.

Camouflage is essential in Alinsky-style organizing. While working to form coalitions with black churches in Chicago, Obama faced criticism for not attending church himself, so he quickly became a churchgoer.

The fact that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have an Alinskyite background reveals two things.

First, they are leftists committed to challenging our Constitutional Republic system.

Second, they are willing to go to great lengths to hide their radicalism from the public.

BOTTOM LINE

This approach was advocated by Alinsky and is indicative of today's Democratic Party. The Communist Democrat party continues to follow the Marxist principles established years ago by Marxist Saul Alinsky.
