THE DECADE OF THE
"LITTLE RED BOOK" MARKS THE INITIAL DECADE WHEN COMMUNIST CHINA CHALLENGED AMERICAN LEADERSHIP AND BEGAN THE PLUNDER OF U.S. INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY
THE MISAPPROPRIATION OF AMERICAN TECHNOLOGICAL INVENTIONS
THE MISAPPROPRIATION OF OUR AMERICAN MILITARY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
THE 1970’S IS DECADE WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Yes, beginning in the 1970s as U.S.-China relations thawed, various Chinese delegations, including high-ranking officials and engineers, toured American manufacturing plants as part of scientific, cultural, and trade exchanges.
This was a significant development after decades of isolation and non-existent direct trade between the two nations.Key moments and types of visits include:Nixon’s Visit (1972): During President Nixon’s historic visit to China, First Lady Pat Nixon toured Chinese factories and hospitals, which was widely publicized in American media. The President’s party also viewed Chinese industrial sites in Shanghai as part of the formal tour, not American ones.
Congressional Delegation Tours (1973): American officials were among the early visitors. In July 1973, a U.S. Congressional delegation toured a textile mill in the Chinese industrial city of Xi’an.Scientific and Technical Exchanges (mid-to-late 1970s): After the initial political thaw, specific expert groups began exchanges.
In 1978, a small group of Chinese engineers and policymakers visited U.S. companies like Lockheed Martin and McDonnell Douglas to observe advanced industrial processes and technology.Deng Xiaoping’s State Visit (1979):
The paramount leader of China, Deng Xiaoping, visited the United States in January 1979 to formalize diplomatic and trade relations. As part of his tour, he visited a Ford assembly plant in Atlanta and the Boeing Everett Factory in Seattle to see American manufacturing firsthand.
These tours were a visible symbol of the new era of engagement, allowing American companies to explore market opportunities in China and helping the Chinese leadership gather knowledge to launch their “reform and opening-up” economic project.
The Chinese communists outmaneuvered the President, congressional leaders, and major corporations. Their focus was solely on cheap labor and the influx of dollars into their pockets. They effectively compromised our industrial and military production methods. This marked the start of a significant shift in American manufacturing to Communist China, where goods were produced and then exported back to the USA, exploiting American consumers.
PresidentDonald Trump is currently working to restore our industrial base—bringing it back from China and re-establishing it on American soil. He faces resistance from large US corporations and many in Congress who are influenced by big business and big tech.
BOTTOM LINE
The traditional Yankee ingenuity was eradicated in the '70s when American companies prioritized CHEAP CHINESE LABOR/PRODUCTION over the security of the United States. They essentially dismissed the AMERICAN WORKER, opting to relocate their factories and finances to Communist China.
PATRIOTS, we are facing the consequences today. We permitted our enemy Communist China, to steal from us, pilfer our technology, and utilize it to develop their top-tier military force, which we are playing catch up
WE THE PEOPLE WERE BETRAYED
