HEY CONGRESS LET'S BRING YOU BACK TO REALITY

CONGRESSIONAL REFORM ACT 2025 AS DEMANDED BY

“WE THE PEOPLE”  

WE ARE FED UP WITH THE STATUS QUO AND DEMAND CHANGE IMMEDIATELY!    

CONGRESSIONAL REFORM ACT 2025 SHALL COVER THE FOLLOWING

1. No Tenure/No Pension. Members of Congress receive a salary while serving and do not receive payment after leaving office.

2. TERM LIMITS - NO CAREER POLITICIANS

3. Congress shall spend no more than 3 months in Washington to conduct the nation's business. After these three months, they must return to their constituents/home of residence, only to be called back during national emergencies such as war or a national crisis.

4. Congress participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund are transferred to the Social Security system immediately.

5. Congress can purchase their own retirement plans, just like all Americans do.

6. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will increase based on the national average for pay raises each year.

7. The current Congressional health care system will be eliminated, and they will participate in the same health care system as the general public.

8. Congress must comply with all laws they impose on the American people.

9. All contracts with past and present members of Congress are nullified effective upon the signing of the bill.

WE DEMAND THAT CONGRESS ADDRESS THIS LEGISLATION WITHOUT DELAY

Initiate the process to bring this legislative bill to the floor for a recorded vote.

We, the people, are fed up with your antics, your prolonged breaks you refer to as recesses, and your legislative performances. We are tired of your dishonesty, your inability to accomplish tasks, and your disregard for our national debt.

We are exhausted by your internal squabbles. We elected you to represent WE THE PEOPLE, not your party, your power, or other countries, groups, or political donors who happen to own large corporations. We are tired of your deference to lobbyists, leftist groups, NGOs, think tanks, and legacy media.

It is time for you to be grounded in the reality of your constituents' lives. It is time for Congress to step down from its elevated position and start acting like REAL AMERICANS, not the so-called elite group you have formed over the decades.

WE DEMAND THIS LEGISLATION BE PASSED IMMEDIATELY
